Frequently asked questions.

What is an NFC review card?

It is a physical card with an NFC chip inside. The chip stores one web link — your review page. When a customer holds an NFC-enabled phone near the card, the phone offers to open that link. There is nothing to install and nothing to type.

How does it work?

NFC stands for Near Field Communication. The chip has no battery: it draws the small amount of power it needs from the phone held against it. The phone reads the link stored on the chip and shows a notification. The customer taps the notification and your review page opens in their browser.

Do customers need an app?

No. Reading NFC tags is built into modern phones, so your review page opens in the phone's normal browser. Neither you nor your customer needs to install anything.

Does it work with iPhone?

Yes, on iPhone 7 and later.

iPhone XR, iPhone XS and every model since read the card automatically — the customer just holds the top of their phone near it and a notification appears.

On iPhone 7, 8 and X the customer opens Control Centre and taps NFC Tag Reader first, then holds the phone to the card.

Does it work with Android?

Yes, on any Android phone with NFC hardware, which covers most phones sold in the last decade.

NFC needs to be switched on in the phone's settings, and it usually is by default. The customer holds the back of their phone near the card and taps the notification that appears.

How does the card get linked to my business?

You give us the review page link when you order — there is a field for it on the product page. We programme the card before we ship it, so it works the moment it arrives.

If you do not have your link yet, order anyway and email it to us afterwards. We will hold the order until we have it.

Can I change the destination later?

Yes. The chips are re-writable, so a card can be pointed at a new link rather than replaced. Email us at goodwordza@gmail.com with your order number and the new link.

Can several cards link to the same business?

Yes. Many businesses put a card at every point where they finish serving someone — the counter, the reception desk, each payment terminal. They can all point at the same review page.

Can I use one for each branch?

Yes. Each card holds its own link, so every branch can send its customers to that branch's own review page. Tell us which link goes with which card when you order and we will programme them to match.

How long does delivery take?

We dispatch within 1 working day of receiving your order and your link. Delivery then takes 5 to 7 working days.

Your delivery cost is calculated at checkout once you enter your address.

What happens after I order?

You get an order confirmation by email straight away. We programme your card with the link you gave us and dispatch within 1 working day. Delivery takes 5 to 7 working days, and you get a shipping notification when it is on its way.

Does it come with a stand?

No. These are flat cards. They lie on a counter, desk or table rather than standing upright, and no stand is included.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. You buy the card once and it keeps working. There is no subscription, no charge per tap, and no account to maintain.

What if I need help setting it up?

Email goodwordza@gmail.com. We answer 8am to 5pm, monday to friday.

Does the card guarantee positive reviews?

No. The card makes it easier for customers to leave genuine feedback. It has no influence over the rating they leave.

We do not sell anything that filters, hides or diverts negative reviews. Asking only the customers you expect to be happy, or asking for a particular number of stars, breaks the rules of every major review platform and puts your listing at risk.
